CHESTERTOWN, MD - The Johns Hopkins crew teams finished second at the Caspersen Cup on Saturday with 35 points. The Blue Jays finished just four points behind Washington College. St. John's College finished in third with 27 points.
On the men's side, Hopkins won the Varisty Eight with a time of 6:56.3. The Blue Jays also won the Varsity Four, finishing in 8:11.8. Hopkins finished second in the Novice Eight with a time of 8:32.0. On the women's side, Hopkins placed third in the Varisty Eight in a time of 9:13.9. The Blue Jays then finished second in the Novice Eight, finishing in 8:32.0. Hopkins once again took second in the Varsity Four (10:10.6) and then finished fourth in the Novice Four (11:24.2).
Hopkins returns to action with the JHU Invitational on Saturday, April 7.
