PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Johns Hopkins track and field team sent the women's 4x400 relay team and a pair of distance runners to compete at the Penn Relays on Thursday night in Philadelphia, PA. Patrick Brandon competed in the 10,000-meters for the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays had two distance runners compete with Patrick Brandon in the 10,000-meters and Laura Paulsen in the 5,000-meters. Brandon posted a time of 31:24.84 to claim 20th place in his event. Paulsen ran an 18:24.90 to finish 34th in her event.

The 4x400 women's relay team competing against other Centennial and MAC Conference schools finished third in its event with a time of 4:04.67. The relay team was composed of Paula Osborn, Kit Harris, Martina Dodd and Jordan Ireton.

Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, April 26 at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg.
