PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Johns Hopkins men's track and field team competed at the Penn Relays on Friday. Junior Adam Waddell was in the pole vault while the 4x400 relay team also took to the track.

Waddell placed sixth in the eastern division of the pole vault. He recorded a 4.60m in the event, which was a new personal best.

The 4x400 relay team of Tristan Thomas, Christo Tait, James Walker and Gordon Mack placed fourth in their event. The team recorded a time of 3:24.65.

Hopkins will return to action on Friday, May 2 at the Centennial Conference Championship, hosted by Gettysburg.
