MADISON, NJ - The Johns Hopkins women's fencing team wrapped up the 2007-08 season on Saturday at the 2008 NCAA Mid Atlantic Regionals. Freshman Sofia de Benedictis (London, England/Chelteham Ladies' College) was the top finisher for Hopkins, placing 17th in the Foil.

Also competing in the Foil, were junior Grace Fried (Forest Hills, NY/Stuyvesant) (19th) and sophomores Samantha Dolan (S. Pasadena, CA/S. Pasadena) (20th) and Katie Kim (Garden City, NY/Garden City) (22nd).

In the Sabre, freshman Mary Vitale (Hampton, NJ/Voorhees) placed 18th while senior captain Cindy Liu (Walnut, CA/Walnut) finished in 20th in the Epee.
