Jo Mooney enters her first season on the Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse staff. She joins the Blue Jays after coaching stints at Colgate University and Davidson College. Her responsibilities include coaching the Blue Jays' defense as well as recruiting coordinator.

Mooney is a 2004 graduate of Vanderbilt University and a four-year letterwinner for the Commodores' lacrosse team. As a sophomore she was a member of the 2002 American Lacrosse Conference champions. As a senior, she captained Vanderbilt to the ALC title as well as a trip to the NCAA Final Four.
