PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Johns Hopkins track and field team sent the women's 4x400 relay team and a pair of distance runners to compete at the Penn Relays on Thursday night in Philadelphia, PA. The relay team set a school record in their event.

The 4x400 relay team competing against other Centennial and MAC Conference schools finished third in its event with a time of 4:04.67. The relay team was composed of Paula Osborn, Kit Harris, Martina Dodd and Jordan Ireton.

The Blue Jays also had two distance runners compete with Laura Paulsen in the 5,000-meters and Patrick Brandon in the 10,000-meters. Paulsen ran an 18:24.90 to finish 34th in her event. Brandon posted a time of 31:24.84 to claim 20th place in his event.

Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, April 26 at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg.
